Endometriosis.

 

Endometriosis is a disease in which the endometrium (the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus or womb) is present outside of the uterus.

What is ENDOMETRIOSIS?

 

Endometriosis is a disease in which the endometrium (the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus or womb) is present outside of the uterus. Endometriosis most commonly occurs in the lower abdomen or pelvis, but it can appear anywhere in the body. Over a period of time this can lead to inflammation and scaring, and in some cases adhesions (where the organs can stick together) There is no specific cure or known cause for endo, and it can last up until menopause.

Symptoms include:

 

   Severe pelvic pain and cramping
   Lower back pain
   Heavy Periods
   Infertility
   Painful sex
   Fatigue, nausea, diarrhea and constipation.
